camera history


1. Explain the “camera obscura” effect. How is it achieved? Its a old camera thats was used back then had small little whole to one side and the other side was big whole that's light was reflect as projector on a black room was the first camera made .


2. What invention during the 17th Century helped man get a step closer to creating the modern camera? Issac Newston and Christian Huygens discovered better way to look on object thats would be helpful for to created better camera just putting high quality glass lenses.



3. What were the parts of the first modern camera invented by Niepce? On 1827 Joseph Nicephore Niepce added a final touch to create the first successful photograph its was a glass lens , dark box , and film.


4.What do modern digital cameras have in common with Niepce’s camera? The light steal passes through the lens into the camera and shows on the film and this is photograph.


5. What do digital cameras use to capture an image? Thats digital cameras can be do load to computers and there cheaper and is more easily to used.


6. What is the difference between the Auto Mode and the Program mode? The camera would control the flash by self.


7. What is the Portrait mode used for? How does it work? Would try not to make the image not blur by taken it fast.



8. What is the Sports mode used for? (not just sports) How does it work? To freeze the emotion of the camera and to capture the image moving fast.


9. Why should you do a half press on the trigger button? Half press is gonna focus the camera to take picture and a little green dot is gonna show up the when bep noise is gonna tell u the camera is ready to take the picture .




10. What does this symbol mean?


If u don't want the flash u can disabled it form camera so when u take image the flash isn't gonna come out.





When would you use this?


11.What does this symbol mean? If the camera os Auto Flash mode the camera would decide if does need more light to capture the image.








When would you use this? Common flash modes.


12. What happens to your photo if there is too much light? When theres to much light the image would be watch out.



13. What happens to your photo if there is not enough light? The image would be to dark.


14. What is a “stop.”Every time would want more brightness would be stops.


15. How many stops brighter is the new planet if there are two sons instead of one? One stop.


16. How many stops brighter is the new planet if there are four sons instead of two? Two stops.



17. What affect does a longer shutter speed of have? The smallest number give u more light the biggest ones would give u less light>


18. What affect does a shorter shutter speed have? The light would be shoot and as fast open and closes giving the flash brief to image.



19. What does the aperture control? U control how much light u want image to have when u want to take.


20. When adjusting the aperture, how can you increase the amount of light?

U can control how much light is reflect to object thats ur gonna image on u want brighter image take u open it more if u want more dark u close more its just depends how u want ur picture to be captured.
